Sara Olivier
Modern Instructor & Company Director
Sara teaches Modern, improvisation, and choreography and directs the Academy's student company. She has 20+ years of experience to share! A graduate of SDSU with an MA in English, a dance minor, and teaching certification, Sara also studied and taught dance at Expanding Harmony Dance Studio in Brookings, SD. She also trained with NMSU's Dance Department and in Brain-Compatible Dance Education with the Creative Dance Center and is certified in yoga. Sara enjoys guiding students through the creative process and providing opportunities for self-expression through movement.
