Annaliese Braucht

Annaliese began dancing in Madison, WI at age 2. She continued learning ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, Broadway jazz, and lyrical. At 12, her family moved to Beaver Creek, MN where she began seriously studying ballet in Sioux Falls, completing Cecchetti grades I-VII. She trained at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Professional Division school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and Kansas City Ballet. She also remained involved as a teacher and dancer at the Dance Gallery of South Dakota. After graduating high school in 2021, Annaliese moved to Rapid City to attend the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering and nanoscience. She is the captain of the SDSMT dance team and is involved in the music department. She is thrilled to teach dance again and cannot wait to share her skill with our Academy of Dance Arts students!
