Stephanie Gill, a Wyoming native, has been dancing and performing since she was a little girl. She attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in Dance Performance. After graduation Stephanie moved to Chicago to pursue dance as a professional career. There, she apprenticed with Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre II. Stephanie is grateful to have worked with amazing professionals such as: Marsha Knight, Jen Deckert, Lawrence Jackson, Margaret Wilson, Jacob Mora, Vincent Brosseau, Peter Pucci, Kevin ‘Iega’ Jeff, Gary Abbott, and Toby Bertch. She also has had the privilege to attend intensives from River North Dance Chicago, Thodos Dance Chicago, Same Planet Different World and LA Dance Magic. We are pleased to have her return to the Academy team this year as a guest artist and choreographer for our high performance team members and soloists!
